Camp GuilRock

This local non-profit camp, affiliated with the United Methodist Church, is open to all! For over 50 years, it has been a beautiful retreat to “Discover Creation, Experience God, (and) Grow in Faith.”


Stephen Ministry

Equips congregation members to provide high-quality, one-to-one, Christ-centered care to people experiencing life difficulties. It involves training church staff and lay leaders to lead and supervise Stephen Ministers in offering emotional and spiritual support.


United methodist Committee on relief (UMCOR)

Humanitarian organization dedicated to alleviating human suffering worldwide by providing disaster relief, health services, sustainable development, migration assistance, and environmental stewardship while partnering with local organizations to maximize impact and ensure that aid reaches those who need it most.


The Salvation Army of Rockingham County

Its mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination, providing various services including food assistance, emergency shelter, youth programs, and spiritual support.


L.O.T. 2540

This hunger relief ministry in Rockingham County operates mobile food pantry distribution sites at many locations each month and uses food to create fellowship and enter relationships with their clients and community.


The barry l. joyce local cancer support fund

Provides financial assistance to cancer patients in Rockingham County to ease their everyday expenses during their battle against cancer.


American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP)

Voluntary health organization that gives those affected by suicide a nationwide community empowered by research, education and advocacy to take action against this leading cause of death.


Rise Against Hunger

Works worldwide to fight hunger, targeting communities facing high rates of food insecurity, by providing volunteer-packaged meals to support nutrition, education and health for children and families facing hunger right now.


Free clinic of rockingham county

Provides for the healthcare needs of low-income, uninsured residents in our diverse communities throughout Rockingham County with the goal of compassionately meeting their essential medical and pharmacy needs.


Home of refuge outreach (HORO)

Provides year-round safe and secure shelter for the homeless populations in Rockingham County, ensures they have food and clean clothing, and assists our neighbors with getting important documentation.

A Christ-centered community offering dynamic opportunities for those with Intellectual and/or Developmental Disabilities and their families. MJM believes that ALL people, regardless of their ability, have a God-ordained purpose for their lives and should have the opportunity to live as contributing members of society.


UMAR, a division of Monarch

UMAR joined Monarch's family of services in 2023. United in a mission to provide support to adults living with intellectual and developmental disabilities, UMAR programs continue to shape the lives of people across Western North Carolina.
